Welcome to “Everybeing’s Potential,” a 3 -day workshop hosted by A place to B(z), Stüa and Hotel Amazonas where we’ll turn this vision into reality. Join us at NOBODY’S VILLAGE, where together, we’ll reclaim and reimagine Bolzano’s urban spaces, transforming them into communal living rooms that welcome everyone.

Weaving the Future of Bolzano

Hidden within Bolzano are forgotten corners and underused spaces, each filled with untapped potential. These areas are waiting for a spark to bring them to life, to transform them from overlooked spaces into vibrant places where the community can gather, connect, and thrive.

This Saturday at NOBODY’S VILLAGE, we invite people from all walks of life, each with their own stories and dreams— to join us on a journey to reimagine our city as a more connected and lively community. Together, we will explore Bolzano’s hidden spaces and discuss how they can be transformed into communal hubs with care and imagination

The workshop starts with a simple question: How do spaces become places? The answer is found not in the bricks and mortar, but in the people who bring life to these spaces. Together, we will explore Bolzano’s hidden and underutilized areas and discuss how they can be transformed into communal hubs with a bit of care and imagination. As we talk, we’ll begin to see Bolzano not just as a city, but as a patchwork of stories, experiences, and hopes. To make this vision tangible, we will work together to create a large fabric—a symbolic social fabric for the city. While we sew, we can begin to share what it means to belong, to connect, and to create together. This fabric will become our storybook, where memories of Bolzano—past and future—are written, painted, and embroidered. We will reflect on how the city looked 10, 30, even 50 years ago, and dream of what it could become.

By the end of the day, our fabric will be a living document of our collective vision—a map of a future Bolzano stitched together with care and creativity. This fabric will serve as a tablecloth the next day, symbolizing the communal table we are building, where everyone has a place and every voice is heard.

But more than just a creative project, this workshop is a reminder that cities are not just physical spaces—they are shaped by the people who care enough to imagine them differently. As we come together to reimagine Bolzano, we are not only creating a vision for the future but also crafting a tangible demand for change. The fabric we create, filled with our collective stories and dreams, will serve as a powerful symbol—a call to the municipality to recognize the untapped potential within the city’s forgotten spaces. We believe that with the community’s input and creativity, Bolzano can become a city where every corner is filled with life, and every being has the potential to flourish.

This year, A Place to B(z) joins again the Bolzano Art Weeks! We’re creating a cozy living room area in front of the space behind the train station—a place where everyone should feel at home in the city. Stop by, get to know us, and become part of our community!
